July 7, 2026

Father Ayoub Anba Bishoy—a monk of the Monastery of Saint Anba Bishoy in the Wilderness of Scetis—has passed away at the age of 63, following a monastic life spanning more than 37 years.

The funeral service for his blessed soul was held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Monastery of Saint Anba Bishoy in the Wilderness of Scetis (Wadi El Natrun). The service was attended by His Grace Bishop Agapios, Bishop and Abbot of the Monastery of Saint Anba Bishoy, along with the monastery's monks.

May his blessed soul find repose in the Paradise of Bliss, and may heavenly comfort be granted to the monastery's monastic community and all who loved him.
