His Grace Bishop Bemwa, of blessed memory, Bishop and Abbot of St. George Monastery in El-Khattatba (he was first tonsured as a monk at the Syrian Monastery and later transferred to St. Bishoy Monastery). He was ordained Chorepiscopos on June 18, 1978, enthroned as Bishop and Abbot of St. George Monastery in El-Khattatba on June 11, 1995, and reposed in the Lord on March 30, 2002.
